Infrastructure Investment Spotlight: Brisbane 2032 and Beyond

A $3.5 Billion Commitment to Queensland Infrastructure

The Australian and Queensland governments have formalised a landmark investment agreement ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Almost $3.5 billion will be directed into new and upgraded venues across the state, including major projects such as the Victoria Park stadium and the National Aquatic Centre in Spring Hill.

This program represents more than Olympic facilities. It highlights the scale of growth already underway across Queensland and the opportunities these projects will create for communities well into the future.

Opportunities Beyond the Games

While the Olympics are the driver behind this wave of investment, the benefits extend far beyond 2032. New and upgraded facilities will improve transport, drainage, and community infrastructure across the state, strengthening Queensland’s capacity to support urban growth. By prioritising both world-class venues and long-term community assets, the program demonstrates how infrastructure investment can leave a lasting legacy.
