Manor Lakes Estate is a landmark project in the Wyndham Vale precinct.

This master planned community, once fully developed, will consist of approximately 7,000 residential lots nestled amongst park lands, lakes and wetlands together with community facilities. DPM has been engaged to provide feasibilities & land capability studies, design development, urban development, project management and construction management services. The development has seen almost 3500 lots developed to date.

A key central facility of the development was the construction of the town lake. DPM undertook and established a team of specialist consultants to develop design and manage the construction of a 90ML lake. The key objective was to project manage the project team; establish the key performance indicators together with all the deliverables of the project.

The lake was situated on-stream and therefore the engineering team needed to establish and understand the current environment surroundings, any possible environmental impacts, how they were rated, prescribe solutions and deliver a sustainable outcome. This was achieved by a consultative approach with the local residents, stake holders, authorities and the client.
